GIVE YOUR RESOURCES
The resources (all of them – time, talent, treasure) of those who live generously are ready to be gladly given whenever a need or an opportunity is discovered. When it is within their power to respond, they relish the privilege to make a difference and bless the life of another, whether friend or stranger. They live out the extreme attitude, “What is mine is yours and you can have it.” It is, however, excruciatingly difficult to live out because of what it requires of us—a radical change in our self-assessment. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States, with about 4 million members in nearly 10,000 congregations.  We are a church that is deeply rooted in Scripture, Lutheran theology, and faith in the good news of Jesus Christ.  All are welcome regardless of age, race, gender, life experience, complexities and questions.

Our Mission, History, and Leadership

The mission of Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church is to inspire God's community.  We are an outreach congregation who prays, worships and works together; to put into action God's Mission in the world.  The history of Mt. Hermon illuminates a rich tapestry of colorful characters and extraordinary events, and was formally organized in 1881.  See how our past leads to God's plan for Mt. Hermon's future.

God desires a close relationship with each of us.  Come as you are and join us in prayer, celebration, and communion with God's Holy Spirit.
