We Are Like Salt
Salted Caramel is a trendy flavor these days. It’s everywhere. Something about adding salt to the sweet, buttery flavor makes it more enjoyable and intense. Many people put salt on watermelon and cantaloupe. Have you heard someone described as a “Salt of the Earth” kind of person? Jesus’s followers are like salt, bringing flavor, good taste, and more enjoyment to life. Salt was also used for preservation. It was not just life-giving, but life-enhancing, life-extending. That’s us!

Lutheran Faith
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States, with about 4 million members in nearly 10,000 congregations. We are a church that is deeply rooted in Scripture, Lutheran theology, and faith in the good news of Jesus Christ. All are welcome regardless of age, race, gender, life experience, complexities and questions.

Our Mission
The mission of Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church is to inspire God's community. We are an outreach congregation who prays, worships and works together; to put into action God's Mission in the world. The history of Mt. Hermon illuminates a rich tapestry of colorful characters and extraordinary events, and was formally organized in 1881. See how our past leads to God's plan for Mt. Hermon's future.

Worship With Us
God desires a close relationship with each of us. Come as you are and join us in prayer, celebration, and communion with God's Holy Spirit.
We offer a Traditional service at 9 am, in the Sanctuary and a Contemporary service at 10:55 am in the Fellowship Hall. Both are also streamed online.
All are always welcome!
